Papa comes up to help and takes over the lullaby singing. ‘Nada/nothing’, the ‘rabietas/tantrums’ continue and increase. Up comes ‘abuela/grandma’ and now in charge of the ‘lullaby’, the ‘big baby boy is large for his age’ and so are his ‘rabietas/tantrums’. Grandpa comes up and takes over the ‘lullaby’ and ‘nada/nothing’, the ‘rabietas/tantrums’ go on. ‘Chupeta/pacifier’, ‘nada/nothing’; chocolate milk bottle, ‘nada/nothing’; ‘pirulí/lollipop’, ‘nada/nothing’ works; ‘rabietas, rabietas y más rabietas/tantrums, tantrums and more tantrums’!

At last, like a miracle just happened, at midnight the ‘rabietas/tantrums’ suddenly stopped. Silence, like ‘twas the night before the Nightmare, when nowhere in the house no one was stirring, not even the big baby boy’s ‘cricetino/hamster’ called Midas. All in the ‘familia/family’ fell asleep in the ‘big baby boy’s room, but behold, except one, and guess who? ‘Sigilosamente/stealthily’ while the rest of the ‘familia/family’ were soundly at sleep, ‘big baby boy’ only wearing big ‘pañales/diapers’ dragged himself and made it down the ‘escaleras/stairs’ to the big ‘familia/family’ room ‘genuinamente/genuinely’ concerned with Midas, and after picking Midas up the ‘big baby boy’ placed Midas on his right broad shoulder. Something curious was noticed by ‘big baby boy’; Midas was running, as if Midas was in a marathon, from the right shoulder to the left shoulder back and forth without taking a break.
THE EARLY MORNING DAWN was sneaking in through a window of the ‘big baby boy’s room: Mama woke up first and looking around exclaimed in panic: Holy Cow! That woke up papa next and looking around exclaimed in panic as well: Holy Macaroni! That woke up grandma next and looking around exclaimed in terror: Holy Ham! That woke up the last but not least of the ‘familia/family’ that were ‘roncando/snoring’ the night away in the ‘big baby boy’s room: Grandpa! Looking around as well exclaimed ‘aterrorizado/terrorized’: ¡Santo/Holy Jamón Serrano!
THE ‘BIG BABY BOY’ kept busy all during the night, down and up and up and down all through the house. ‘Big baby boy’s room was a total mess and the walls were painted with vivid “red crayon” showing different figures, one of them seemed to look like a giant ‘pantano/swamp’ and coming out of it fumes and vapors that undoubtedly looked toxic. Next to it a house illuminated with many colors as if it was the ‘Arco Iris/Rainbow’. ‘BIG BABY BOY’ was found by the astonished four, grandma, mama, grandpa and papa, the unwavering and faithful members of ‘La Familia/Family’, that no matter what ‘big baby boy’ does, he has their support, for there is a season, and a time to pluck up that which is planted, and a time to break down, a time to weep, a time to mourn, a time to cast away stones, a time to rend (Ecclesiastes 3), he was found laying down in the middle of the living room and on the carpet snoring his dreams away peacefully with a thumb in his mouth, while Midas’s head rested on one of the ‘big baby boy’s toe.
Utter destruction surrounded the sleeping ‘big baby boy’ except for the ‘walls’ that somehow, maybe miraculously, were spared so damning a destruction as if left intact for the purpose of sending a message of what might come next. The entire house was in such ‘hecatombe’, and no room was spared again except the walls, as if it was a skeleton of what it once was, a prosperous and gilded dwelling place of the privileged and some of the servants, a real mansion that no longer was.
IT SEEMED as if a Hurricane or a big Twister from within had imploded. And from without, the house looked as if nothing had happened inside, with the expansive ground’s green turf well manicured, and the beds of beautiful flowers everywhere including a Rose Garden. A House all painted in White as a sign of purity left by the Puritans on an early arrival from the old side of the great divide, the Great Wall of Water that is the Atlantic Ocean separating the “Old World” from the “New World”, or so it was told.

On the latter the smell was rosy, as in a Rose Garden. ACTO SEGUIDO, the formidable well-built giant of a man opened his righteous mouth and blew a powerful breath towards the dunes of the Oriente and a Great Sirocco lifted the “Arab Spring”, sending it towards the North and the West, knowing that by the time it arrived there it would be winter. And so, boys and girls, it got to be known as the “West Winter”, the “Arab Spring” morphing into the “West Winter” that could become as destructive as the “Arab Spring” if not even more so. The Sirocco carrying the “West Winter” reached to the very last corner of the West, as far as the American Continent where it already unleashed destruction and sorrow, beginning in the southern region. Now it is moving slowly but surely towards the northern region of the Americas, but the saddest part is that the “West Winter” is being ignored from the ‘head to the toe’ by America la Grande, for there La Vida Sigue Igual, It Is Business As Usual. The man’s name is el Señor Baltasar Garzón. And who is Señor Baltasar Garzón? Is he a prophet? Hardly if we consider that the very last Prophet of the God of the Bible on Earth was the Lord and Savior Christ Jesus. Señor Baltasar Garzón is just a gentle and simple man with all that these two words imply, as Don Quijote would have been if he had ever existed in real life and not in fiction, in the head of Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra, with one notable exception: Señor Baltasar Garzón has his head in very good state of order. A decent man as well and the closest to be called a good man, no doubt an honest man. Let me tell you about Señor Baltasar Garzón, amigos and folks, for those of you that don’t already know him or haven’t heard of him.
ABOUT TWO MONTHS AGO I came across with the book “Un Mundo sin Miedo”, and yes, in Spanish, by Baltasar Garzón, 2005. I found it in the ‘second hand warehouse’ where I occasionally stop by to see what else is there, paying a whole dollar for it. A strange place to find very interesting books in many different languages located in the small town where I have been living for the last ten years in the south of the United States of America. Even though I had it for the last two months at home, it wasn’t until a week ago that I started reading it. I recognized who he was, Judge Baltasar Garzón, but didn’t know much about him except what I had read in Spain’s Big Media. He was not a universally loved man. A great number of politicians and institutions despised him. They referred to him, not surprisingly, as the “Red”, and Pinochet went as far as to say: That Communist Baltasar Garzón! On that premise I had little interest, if any, to find out on my own the true nature of this man. You see, mon ami, 朋友, φίλος, חבר, приятель, صديق, amigos and friends of all the nations, and kindreds, and peoples, and tongues (Refer to: Revelation/Apocalipsis 7:9), I was a diehard conservative until about a decade ago.
It seemed that what happened to me was the contrary of what Churchill declared: “If You Are Not a Liberal at 25, You Have No Heart. If You Are Not a Conservative at 35 You Have No Brain”. In my particular case I didn’t end up on any side of the street. I am not liberal and I am not a conservative: I am nada, period! In a sense what could have happened to me a long time ago is something similar (without daring to compare myself with him) to what Victor Hugo experienced, a transition from conservatism to a more liberal view of the World, of which, I think, prompted him to write his masterpiece known as “Les Misérables”.
Overall, Judge Baltasar Garzón is an independent person in the whole sense of the word. The “Left” never really owned him nor the “Right”: Señor Baltasar Garzón is indomitably incorruptable! I go as far as to say and dare to write that if every Nation in the World would have had a jurist like Judge Baltasar Garzón, it would have been a much better World for all to live in. This World would not have found itself in the state of Hecatombe that is found today.
I HAVE BEEN THINKING FOR THE LAST TWO WEEKS what would make an exceptional [No pun intended, America] gift for the one you love this 2019-2020 Holiday Season, and considering all things and all things considered, I suggest, for whatever it is worth, a copy of the book “Un Mundo sin Miedo”. I personally haven’t finished it, being a slow and careful reader. I’m in the section called “Terrorismo” of the book, but I couldn’t help but think, hey, everybody should know the root and origin of most of all this evil stuff.
That will cover the almost one billion Spanish speaking people in the World today. What about the almost three billion English speaking people around the World today? Well, to use one favorite phrase of the political class now days, “Giving Back” [Hey, why not give back your seat in power after two terms, some might say], hey, those wealthy enough, get with the publishing house of “Un Mundo sin Miedo” and propose that you put up front the monies necessary for the proper translation into English ‘asap’ before the 2019-2020 Holiday Season; I wish I could. And since we are at it, hey, a wealthy enough Russian man or woman could do the very same thing, and a wealthy enough Chinese man or woman could do the very same thing, and so on and so on, until all the languages in the World are covered! Not a bad idea, eh, mon ami, 朋友, φίλος, חבר, приятель, صديق, amigos and friends of all the nations, and kindreds, and peoples, and tongues (Refer to: Revelation/Apocalipsis 7:9), right? Something must be done and fast, and why not commence with “Un Mundo sin Miedo” (“A World Without Fear”) at the very beginning?

MEESTER VEELSON The year that Buchanan was elected President Thomas Woodrow Wilson was born to a Presbyterian minister’s daughter in the manse at Staunton in the valley of Virginia; it was the old Scotch-Irish stock; the father was a Presbyterian minister, too, and teacher of rhetoric in theological seminaries; the Wilsons lived in a universe of words linked into an incontrovertible firmament by two centuries of Calvinist divines,… Doctor Wilson was a man of standing, who loved his home and his children and good books and his wife and correct syntax and talked to God evey day at family prayers; he brought his sons up between the Bible and the dictionary. In 1870 Doctor Wilson was called to the Theological Seminary at Columbia, South Carolina; Tommy attended Davison College, where he developed a good tenor voice; then he went to Princeton and became a debater and editor of the Princetonian. His first published article in the Nassau Literary Magazine was an appreciation of Bismarck.
Afterwards he studied law at the University of Virginia; young Wilson wanted to be a Great man, like Gladstone and the eighteen-century English Parliamentarians; he wanted to hold the packed benches spellbound in the cause of Truth; but law practice irked him; he was more at home in the booky air of libraries, lecturerooms, college chapel it was a relief to leave his law practice at Atlanta and take a Historical Fellowship at Johns Hopkins; there he wrote Congressional Government.
At twentynine he married a girl with a taste for painting (while he was courting her he coached her in how to use the broad “a”) and got a job at Bryn Mawr teaching the girls History and Political Economy. When he got his Ph.D. from Johns Hopkins he moved to a professorship in Wesleyan, wrote articles, started a History of the United States, spoke out for Truth reform Responsible Government Democracy from the lecture platform, climbed all the steps of a brilliant university career; in 1901 the trustees of Princeton offered him the presidency; he plunged into reforming the university, made violent friends and enemies, set the campus by the ears, and the American people began to find on the front pages the name of Woodrow Wilson.
In 1909 he made addresses on Lincoln and Robert E. Lee and in 1910 the Democratic bosses of New Jersey, hardpressed by muckrakers and reformers, got the bright idea of offering the nomination for Governor to the stainless college president who attracted such large audiences by publicly championing Right.

Wilson became the state (war is the health of the state), Washington his Versailles, manned the socialized government with a dollar-a-year men out of the great corporations and ran the big parade of men munitions groceries mules and trucks to France. Five million men stood at attention outside of their tarpaper barracks every sundown while they played The Start-Spangled Banner. War brought the eighthour day, women’s votes, prohibition, compulsory arbitration, high wages, high rates of interest, cost plus contracts, and the luxury of being a Gold Star Mother. If you objected to making the world safe for cost plus democracy you went to jail with Debs.

He strained every nerve of his body and brain, every agency of the government he had under his control (if anybody disagreed he was a crook or a red; no pardon for Debs). In Seattle the wobblies leaders were in jail, in Seattle the wobblies whose leaders had been lynched, who’d been shot down like dogs, in Seattle the wobblies lined four blocks as Wilson passed, stood silent with their arms folded staring at the great liberal as he hurried past in his car, huddled in his overcoat, haggard with fatigue, one side of his face twitching. Then men in overalls, the workingstiffs let him pass in silence after all the other blocks of handclapping and patriotic cheers.
In Pueblo, Colorado, he was a gray man hardly able to stand, one side of his face twitching: Now that the mists of this great question have cleared away, I believe that men will see the Truth, eye for eye and face to face. In 1924 on February 3, he died.
