SECURITY/SEGURIDAD
DECEMBER 2010. Our word for today is the security of the believer. You see the security of the believer is squarely based on the fact that the salvation of the righteous is of the Lord for God himself is our keep, our security. Now this word keep has its origins in the design of the ancient French and English castles. The keep in that case was the strongest fortification in the compound and the final place of resort in case of siege or attack. Now there are a number of words in the New Testament that are translated keep, but the one used to convey the idea of the keeping power of God is trichŏs. This word means to watch over, to garrison, to keep, to secure, to preserve. It is that which maintains security. In the Holy Scriptures, it is evident that the keeper of the saints is God, the Holy Trinity.
Our security, according to the Bible, is based on nine mighty undertakings on behalf of the elect by God. Three are related to God the Father; three to God the Son; and three to God the Holy Spirit. We cannot keep ourselves. He alone is our security, our strongest compound, our garrison, our preserver.
Now first let’s take up the mighty undertakings on behalf of the elect on the part of God the Father. And it was His decree to choose certain persons out of all mankind to be granted eternal life. This is why Paul says very plainly...God chose you from the beginning unto salvation in sanctification of the spirit and belief of the truth. Jehová is a sovereign God who established an immutable plan of infinite perfection and detail before he created a single thing. For the execution of that divine plan, certain things were necessary and among them was the need for undeserving creatures, that’s you and me, to be the objects of his grace. It was his good pleasure to bypass fallen angels and to choose certain from among the children of men. He did not choose so much as one single person because of merit on the part of that person, or because of a condition of good or a condition of response or anything else. But he chose each and everyone for the simple reason that each fit perfectly into his divine plan or the word for it in the Bible is purpose. No one of the elect was any more deserving of salvation than those left unchosen. Remember that friend. If you know yourself to be a child of God according to the teaching of the Word of God and the witness of the Spirit with your spirit that you are a child of God, remember you were not chosen because of any good seen in you, because of any merit in you. You deserve no more to go to heaven in terms of what you are or what you have done than those who are damned. Not one of the elect was any more deserving of salvation than those who were left non-elect. It must be insisted that the selection of the elect is based on the fact that the divine plan called for their inclusion simply because it suited his majesty’s free will to receive them unto himself in order that he might display his wondrous grace. Jesus said, I give unto them eternal life for they shall never perish, neither shall any pluck them out of my hand. My father who gave them to me is greater than all and none, you see that includes the devil, that includes all of the demonic host, none is able to pluck them out of my father’s hand.
Now the second mighty undertaking of God the Father on behalf of those whom he predestined to be saved, is to keep them from any creature or circumstance which might seek to take them from his care and his eternal security. Since the adoption is related to the day of Christ when the Lord will give us our resurrection bodies and we shall be totally separated from sin forever more, it is obvious that if we are to be kept until the day of Christ we are eternally secure. According to Paul in Ephesians 1:5, the elect are predestinated unto the adoption of sons by Jesus Christ to himself according to the good pleasure of his will. Please notice, it isn’t your choice, it is not your will, it is according to the good pleasure of his will and is to the praise and glory of his grace or his unmerited favor. Now if God has predestinated us to the adoption, the placing as full heirs, we can be sure that nothing will hinder our security. Paul assures the Philippians that he is confident of this very thing, that he who hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. Well, since the day of Jesus Christ is the rapture when the elect shall receive their resurrection bodies and are to be completely separated from sin and their sin nature for the rest of eternity, it is obvious that the one who began the work of salvation in us is going to see that we are kept saved or eternally secured.
The third mighty undertaking of God the Father on behalf of his elect is his irresistible grace. All those whom God has predestinated unto life and those only he is pleased in his appointed and accepted time effectually to call by his word and spirit out of that state of death in which they are by nature dead spiritually to grace (unmerited favor) and salvation by means of Jesus Christ, enlightening their minds spiritually and savingly to understand the things of God, taking away their heart of stone and giving them a heart of flesh, renewing their wills and by his almighty power determining to them that which is good and effectually drawing them to Jesus Christ, being made willingly by his grace and to this, we might add, because first he regenerated them according to his will and therefore they are oriented to his spirit as living human spirits. Now this actual call of God’s free and special grace alone, not from anything at all foreseen in man as an individual who is altogether passive therein until being quickened and renewed by the Holy Spirit, this irresistible grace or effectual calling is declared to be the work of God’s Spirit whereby convincing us of our sin and misery, enlightening our minds in the knowledge of Christ and renewing our wills unto himself in the gospel. Now when a child is born into the world, it is not his act. He is simply born as the initial action on the part of another. After the child is born and has fully developed its faculties, it begins to appreciate all that went into its becoming a part of the human family. Now in like manner, when we are born from above or born again as it is translated of the Spirit of God, it is because he initiated our origins by the seed of his Word. We had no more to do with the initiation of the processes by which we are born into the family of God than individuals who are born into the family of man. It is by the will and action of the Father who is the seed giver unto life.
Now when the Lord Jesus called Lazarus out of a state of death into life, it was the act of Jesus not the act of Lazarus. Paul says that you and I were once dead, spiritually dead, in trespasses and sin until at a predetermined moment in time chosen by God in eternity past, the giver of life, the eternal God caused us to pass out of the realm of spiritual death into the realm of spiritual life. Take heed! Faith and repentance follow the gift of life. They do not initiate it. The strength of the keeper and the security of the sheep are declared by his resurrection from among the dead. We are no more kept saved by anything we do after believing on the Lord Jesus Christ than anything we did before we were saved by him. Now God’s guarantee is that all who are in Christ shall be joint heirs with him in his glory. Because he arose from the dead, we too who are in him must also ascend to glory in resurrection bodies. This will not take place because of any worthiness on our part consequent or previous to salvation, but because it was a part of the purpose or divine plan of God according to foreknowledge in eternity past of all things possible from which he chose what would take place to be completed at the rapture.
Now the third mighty undertaking on the part of the Son of God on behalf of the elect is his role as our intercessor advocate in the court of heaven. The awareness of this caused the Apostle Paul to triumphantly shout, “Who is he who condemns? Certainly it is not Christ who died, yea rather that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God and who also makes intercession for us.” And us to Paul means us chosen ones. Assured that we have an intercessor before the throne, Paul goes on doggedly to declare that no circumstance or creature including angels and the devil has the power to separate us from the love of God who chose us for himself in eternity past without any condition on our part. Oh, our intercessor will surely avail! Those who are constantly afraid that they might live the saved life for years and then in a weak moment in a day to come commit a sin and die before they can get saved all over again do not rightly handle the word of truth. Our blessed Lord has assumed full responsibility to see that we are delivered safely, securely to the dear Father in heaven. It was the Father who chose us in the beginning. It was the Son who accomplished the perfect work which made it possible for a righteous God, a Holy God, to act in mercy towards sinners whom he has seen fit to elect unto salvation. We shall persevere because God will finish the work he started. The Lord Jesus is our security. He is the divine keep or impregnable fortress. Since the elect are in Christ, they are in the impregnable keep or castle of the omnipotent God who has willed that they shall be kept by himself for himself.
Among others, there are three mighty undertakings of the Holy Spirit on behalf of the elect. The first of these great works is that glorious act whereby all of the elect are placed in Christ by the Holy Spirit. This act is called the baptism of the Holy Spirit and has absolutely nothing to do at all with tongues but has to do with that eternal relationship established by God for the sake of the chosen ones. We were placed in Christ, the divine keep, by being joined to the body of believers being known as the congregation or the bride of Christ so that Paul assures us that by one spirit, that is the Holy Spirit, we were all baptized into one body, that is the congregation of Christ. And when we say congregation of Christ in scripture, it has no reference to any denomination by that name. The one baptism of Ephesians 4:5 is the baptism of the Holy Spirit, who eternally unites the elect with the Son of God who is the head of the congregation at the moment they are placed in Christ Jesus. It is the blessed Trinity together who are our security, not any good deeds of the flesh.
Now the second mighty undertaking of the Holy Spirit on behalf of the elect is regeneration. Our Lord insisted to Nicodemus that unless a person is born of God there is no hope of his ever entering into the kingdom of heaven. The will of man has absolutely nothing to do with becoming a child of God. Of your own will, you cannot make a decision for Christ. If you are born again, it is because the Holy Spirit first of all gave you eternal life. It is God himself who changes our hearts from obdurate, hard stone to tender flesh. Regeneration is not the work of the will of man, but the work of God the Holy Spirit on the behalf of the elect. Most people today believe in the sovereignty of man and the exercise of man’s will unto salvation. The Bible teaches the sovereignty of God unto regeneration and regeneration must precede faith.
The third mighty undertaking of the Holy Spirit on behalf of the elect is his indwelling the saints forever more. It is this fact which gives us the unashamed hope that “we shall be saved from the wrath to come by the will and the power of God who chose us in Christ before he framed the world.” Were it not for the indwelling of the Spirit of God who witnesses to us that we are the children of God, we would be without hope. But he so witnesses to the elect. You know it is indeed an amazing thing that God has chosen us sinners to be a temple for his Holy Spirit to indwell. When Jesus said, “I will build my congregation”, he gave assurance that it would not be left up to unreliable men, preachers mostly. No, we are secure because God has chosen the elect in Christ which relationship is non-assailable because he is the omnipotent and the eternal, because he is the eternal one whose will cannot be thwarted by any creature. This is why Jude begins his epistle with the words, “To them who are sanctified”, that is, separated unto God, who are sanctified by God the Father and preserved...(there is our Greek word for kept or security)...who are preserved in Jesus Christ and who are called, that is, elected. Oh what a thrilling thing to know that if you are truly a child of God and your knowledge of this is not based upon emotion, but believe the doctrines of scripture no matter how hard they are to stomach according to the flesh, if you are secure in Christ because you believe all that the Bible has to teach about salvation, you know it is the work of the Holy Trinity: of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. For the Father has undertaken to choose us before he created the heavens and the earth. He has predestined our salvation by his own grace. He has drawn us irresistibly to his Son by his Spirit, just as the dear Son himself is the one who took our place and bore the wrath which is due sinners, who was resurrected from among the dead. Who also is the one that guarantees by that resurrection that we have no condemnation because he makes intercession for us. The undertakings of the Holy Spirit, three also, were those that: he placed us in Christ; he regenerated us; and he indwells us forevermore. AMEN.

DICIEMBRE DEL AÑO 2010. El asunto de la seguridad ha sido posiblemente el tema más importante para la humanidad desde un principio. ¿Y porque de esto? Simplemente porque por exitosos que seamos, por mucho que poseamos para disfrutar las cosas de este mundo con nuestras familias, si no tenemos seguridad, si no nos sentimos seguros y guardados de peligro o violencia, ese disfrutar mengua considerablemente por la constante incertidumbre y el miedo del daño físico y económico que la violencia nos puede ocasionar, tanto a nosotros mismos como a nuestras familias, o sea, que nunca hay una alegría, felicidad y seguridad continua. En esta época en que nos ha tocado vivir vemos como la industria de la seguridad es la de más crecimiento, y quizás pensamos que este crecimiento de esta mencionada industria no ha tenido precedentes en la historia de este mundo.
Yo, a Dios gracias por su misericordia, desde hace tres años cuando deseo saber acerca de la verdadera historia de este mundo voy a La Biblia primero para ver lo que Dios dice, y a la final siempre creo a Dios en lugar de creer al hombre. Esto no siempre fue así, no soy una persona mejor que otras ni mucho menos, sino que su misericordia inmerecida me alcanzó como antes mencioné y sorprendido aun estoy, sin entender del porqué me alcanzó.
La inseguridad siempre ha acompañado al ser humano desde el principio, desde que Dios creó este universo incluyendo la tierra hace unos 13,000 años.
Al poco de Dios crear este mundo la cuarta parte del ser viviente, y me refiero a personas, sufrió violencia y a consecuencia de esta violencia hubo muerte física en esa cuarta parte. La mayoría de nosotros sabemos la historia de Caín y Abel. De acuerdo a lo que Dios nos dice en el primer libro de La Biblia, Génesis, y yo escojo creer a Dios y no al hombre no importa quién ese hombre sea, el total de los seres humanos en existencia cuando Caín mató a su hermano Abel eran cuatro: Adán, su esposa Eva y los dos hijos de ellos Caín y Abel. Esto quiere decir que una cuarta parte de la humanidad existente en aquél momento pereció físicamente ante un acto de violencia ocasionado por otro ser humano. Esta violencia acompañaría a toda la humanidad hasta nuestros días. Esta compañera, la violencia, es hermana o hija nuestra porque nosotros la engendramos desde un principio a través del pecado y nos acompañará hasta el final, lo cual acarrea la inseguridad en un estado constante.
Al mismo tiempo sabemos también por La Biblia, que Dios preparó un plan de seguridad para que su gente, (Mateo 1:21) su pueblo, tuviera el sistema de seguridad más perfecto jamás en existencia, mejor dicho, el “sistema de seguridad perfecto”. Esta seguridad mantiene a su pueblo en una fortaleza impregnable donde el nombre de sus muros es “Salvación”, y el nombre de sus puertas “Alabanza”, el mismo nombre del Jefe de Seguridad de todo el universo, Jehová el Salvador, el mismo Todopoderoso Dios que en el N.T. se haría llamar Jesucristo el Salvador, conocido también como La Puerta que nos da acceso a la seguridad eterna y en un exaltamiento de gozo y de alegría El Salvador recibe Alabanza por su pueblo y familia en homenaje eterno a tan Misericordioso Salvador y Protector y Dios.
Nunca más se oirá en tu tierra violencia, destrucción ni quebrantamiento en tu territorio, sino que a tus muros llamarás Salvación, y a tus puertas Alabanza. Isaías 60:18 (Dios de refiere, habla del Reino de Dios que no es de este mundo)
Esta es la “verdadera alegría, felicidad y verdadera seguridad” que continua en un gozo indescriptible para siempre. La Biblia no nos deja ninguna duda de que Abel estaba dentro de esa Seguridad, aunque es posible que el mismo Abel no lo supiese. De los otros tres Dios no nos dice nada al respecto y lo mejor es no especular porque eso es asunto que no nos concierne, es asunto solo de Dios.
Ahora les dejo con esta traducción hecha por queeslaverdad.com de un tape en ingles que pude conseguir recientemente. Este tape del cual menciono que hicimos la traducción, es posible que originalmente fue grabado hace veinticinco años y quizás más. La procedencia es de San Antonio, Texas, U.S.A. de un programa radial, donde este hombre fue la voz de dicho programa por muchos años y también hace años el Señor se lo llevó. Omitimos el nombre porque siempre hacemos esto hasta el máximo que podamos, ya que el nombre que está sobre todo nombre es al que queremos glorificar en esta página de internet, Jesucristo el Todopoderoso, el Alfa y la Omega, Señor y Salvador, Amén. Como siempre, trato de recordar a todos que es en la Palabra de Dios donde toda La Verdad se encuentra, sin embargo Dios también en su Palabra dice que El había nombrado algunos hombres maestros, mainly the apostles, no mujeres.
El que pone atención a enseñanzas de La Biblia dirigidas por mujer alguna debe de saber que esa mujer está bajo la Ira de Dios por su rebeldía contra Dios, pues la Biblia es bien clara y no deja ninguna duda al respecto, y como consecuencia aquel que acepta las enseñanzas de una mujer rebelde a La Ley de Dios que es toda La Biblia también se encuentra bajo la Ira de Dios. Hoy solamente tenemos un Maestro de quien aprender la Palabra de Dios: Dios Padre! Juan 6:45
La traducción de este tape fue hecha porque se ve claramente que la enseñanza Bíblica de este texto es fiel a las doctrinas y enseñanzas que se encuentran en la Palabra de Dios.
SEGURIDAD/SECURITY
La palabra para hoy es seguridad. Veamos esto: -que la seguridad del creyente está completamente basada en el hecho de que la salvación de los justos es del Señor porque Dios mismo es nuestro guarda, nuestra seguridad-. La palabra guarda tiene su origen en el diseño de los castillos y fortalezas de la antigüedad. El guarda en aquel caso era la fortificación más fuerte dentro del castillo y último lugar de refugio en caso de asedio o ataque. Hay un número de palabras en el Nuevo Testamento que son traducidas guarda, pero la usada para transmitir correctamente el poder de Dios como guarda es trichŏs. Esta palabra significa vigilar, guarnición, guardar, seguridad, preservar. Es lo que mantiene la seguridad. En las Santas Escrituras, es evidente que el guarda de los Santos es Dios, la Santa Trinidad.
Nuestra seguridad, de acuerdo a La Biblia, está basada en nueve poderosos proyectos (compromisos) en favor de los elegidos por Dios. Tres están relacionados con Dios Padre; tres con Dios Hijo; y tres con Dios Espíritu Santo. Nosotros no podemos ser el guarda de nosotros mismos. El solo es nuestra seguridad, nuestro recinto más fuerte, nuestra guarnición, nuestro preservador.
Primeramente vamos a conocer los poderosos proyectos (compromisos) a favor de los elegidos por parte de Dios Padre. Y fue Su Decreto de escoger ciertas personas de entre toda la humanidad para concederles vida eterna. Es por esto que Pablo sencillamente dice: “Dios os escogió desde el principio para salvación en santificación del espíritu y creer en la verdad”. Jehová es Dios Soberano que estableció un plan inmutable de infinita perfección y detalle antes de que crease una sola cosa.
Para la ejecución de este plan divino, ciertas cosas fueron necesarias y entre ellas era la necesidad de criaturas no merecedoras, esos somos tú y yo, para ser objeto de su gracia. Fue el placer de su bondad circunvalar los ángeles caídos y escoger ciertos de los hijos del hombre. El no escogió ni aun una sola persona por algún mérito de parte de esa persona, o por condición de bondad o por condición de responder o ninguna otra razón. Pero escogió a cada uno por la simple razón de que cada uno encajaba perfectamente en su plan divino, la palabra que La Biblia usa acerca de esto es propósito.
Ninguno de los elegidos era más merecedor de salvación que aquellos que no fueron escogidos. Recuerda eso amigo. Si tú mismo sabes que eres un hijo de Dios de acuerdo a las enseñanzas de La Palabra de Dios y El Espíritu atestigua a tu espíritu que eres un hijo de Dios, recuerda que tu no fuiste escogido por algo bueno visto en ti, porque algún mérito había en ti. Tú no te mereces más el ir al cielo en los términos de quién tú eres o lo que tú hayas hecho que aquellos que están condenados. Ninguno de los elegidos era más merecedor de la salvación que aquellos que fueron dejados sin ser elegidos.
Se debe insistir que la selección de los elegidos está basada en el hecho de que el Plan Divino requería su inclusión porque simplemente le era apropiado a la Libre Voluntad de su Majestad de recibir a esos para sí mismo con la intención de que El pudiese exponer su maravillosa gracia. Jesús dijo: “Yo les doy a ellos vida eterna y nunca perecerán, tampoco nadie podrá arrancar alguno de ellos de mi mano. Mi Padre quién me dio a todos ellos es Mayor que todos y nadie, “tú ves esto incluye el diablo, esto incluye huestes demoníacas”, nadie podrá arrancar alguno de ellos de la mano de mi Padre”.
El segundo poderoso proyecto de Dios Padre a favor de aquellos que El predestinó a ser salvados, es guardarlos de cualquier criatura o circunstancia la cual pueda buscar apartarlos de Su cuidado y seguridad eterna. Como la adopción está relacionada al día de Cristo, cuando el Señor nos dará nuestros cuerpos resucitados y estaremos separados del pecado para siempre-jamás, es obvio que si vamos a estar guardados hasta el día de Cristo es que estamos eternamente seguros. De acuerdo a Pablo en Efesios 1:5, “los elegidos han sido predestinados para ser adoptados hijos suyos por medio de Jesucristo, según el puro afecto de su voluntad”.
Por favor notemos, no es tu opción, no es tu voluntad, es según el puro afecto de su voluntad y es para alabanza y gloria de Su Gracia o su inmerecido favor. Ahora bien, si Dios nos ha predestinado para la adopción, puestos como completos herederos, podemos estar seguros que nada entorpecerá nuestra seguridad. Pablo asegura a los Filipenses, que es confidente de este mismo hecho, “que el que comenzó en vosotros la buena obra, la perfeccionará hasta el día de Jesucristo” (Filipenses 1:6).
Bien, debido a que el día de Jesucristo es el rapto (arrebatados en las nubes y llevados al cielo por el Señor, 1 Tesalonicenses 4:17) cuando los elegidos recibirán sus cuerpos resucitados y son completamente separados del pecado y de su pecaminosa naturaleza para el resto de la eternidad, es obvio que el que comenzó en nosotros la buena obra de la salvación proveerá que se vea que estamos guardados en la salvación o eternamente seguros.
El tercer poderoso proyecto de Dios Padre a favor de sus elegidos es su irresistible gracia. Todos esos que Dios ha predestinado a la vida, y con esos solo, él está complacido en su aceptado tiempo y designio para eficazmente llamar por su Palabra y Espíritu fuera del estado de muerte, en el cual ellos están por naturaleza, espiritualmente muertos, a la gracia (inmerecido favor) y salvación por medio de Jesucristo, ilustrando sus mentes espiritualmente en salvación para que entiendan las cosas de Dios, quitándoles su corazón de piedra y dándoles un corazón de carne, renovando su voluntad y por su poderoso poder determinando para ellos eso cual es bueno y efectivamente traerles a Jesucristo, que por su gracia han sido hechos hacer esto gustosos y de buena gana, podemos agregar, porque primero El les regeneró según Su Voluntad para más tarde orientarles a Su Espíritu como espíritus humanos vivientes.
Ahora bien, esta actual llamada de Dios libre y especial de gracia solamente, no por algo visto de antemano en el hombre que es un individuo completamente pasivo hasta que fue despertado y renovado por el Espíritu Santo, esta irresistible gracia, efectiva llamada, es declarada ser la obra del Espíritu de Dios la cual nos convence de nuestro pecado y miseria, ilustrando nuestras mentes en el conocimiento de Cristo y renovando nuestras voluntades hacia El y el Evangelio.
Ahora bien, cuando un niño nace en este mundo, no es un acto suyo. El simplemente ha nacido de la acción inicial de parte de otro. Después del que el niño nace y ha desarrollado sus facultades, comienza a apreciar todo lo que tuvo que suceder para el llegar a ser parte de la familia humana. Así de la misma manera, cuando somos nacidos de arriba o vueltos a nacer como es traducido del Espíritu Santo, es porque El inició nuestro origen por la semilla de su Palabra. Nosotros no intervenimos en el proceso de iniciación por el cual nacemos en La Familia de Dios como al mismo tiempo tampoco ningún individuo interviene en el proceso de iniciación para nacer en la familia humana. Es por la voluntad y acción del Padre que es el dador de la semilla de la vida.
Cuando el Señor Jesús llamó a Lázaro fuera del estado de muerte a la vida, fue el acto de Jesús no el acto de Lázaro. Pablo dice que tú y yo estábamos una vez muertos, espiritualmente muertos, en pecado y transgresiones hasta que en un momento predeterminado y en el tiempo escogido por Dios en la eternidad pasada, el dador de vida, el Dios eterno causó que nosotros pasáramos del ámbito de la muerte espiritual al ámbito de la vida espiritual.
¡Pongamos atención! Fe y arrepentimiento viene después del regalo de la vida. La fe y el arrepentimiento no inician la vida. La fuerza del Guarda y la Seguridad de la ovejas son declaradas por Su Resurrección de entre los muertos No somos mantenidos más salvados por cualquier cosa que hagamos después de creer en el Señor Jesucristo que cualquier cosa que hicimos antes de ser salvados por El.
Ahora bien, la garantía de Dios es que todos los que están en Cristo debemos ser coherederos con El de su gloria. Porque El se levantó de entre los muertos, nosotros que estamos en El también debemos ascender en nuestros cuerpos resucitados a la gloria. Esto no sucederá por merecerlo de nuestra parte previamente a la salvación, sino porque era parte del propósito o plan divino de acuerdo al pre-conocimiento en la eternidad pasada de todas las cosas posibles de las cuales El escogió lo que sucedería para completarlo en el rapto (arrebatamiento, 1 Tesalonicenses 4:17).
El tercer poderoso proyecto de parte del Hijo de Dios a favor de los elegidos es el papel importantísimo que tiene como abogado intercesor en la corte celestial. El estar consciente de esto causó al apóstol Pablo gritar triunfalmente, “¿Quién es el que condena? Ciertamente no es Cristo quién murió, más bien que se levantó de nuevo, quién está en el cielo a la derecha de Dios y hace intercesión por nosotros”.
Y por nosotros Pablo se refiere a los escogidos. Asegurado de que tenemos un intercesor delante del Trono, Pablo continúa tenazmente declarando que ni circunstancia o criaturas incluyendo ángeles y ni el diablo tiene el poder de separarnos del amor de Dios quién nos escogió para El mismo en la eternidad pasada sin ninguna condición de nuestra parte.
¡Oh, nuestro intercesor con toda seguridad prevalecerá! Esos que constantemente tienen miedo de que mientras viven una vida de salvados por años y un día en un momento de debilidad cometen pecado y mueren antes de que puedan ser salvados otra vez, no manejan correctamente la Palabra de Verdad. Nuestro Bendito Señor ha asumido la responsabilidad completa de que somos enviados seguros y con toda seguridad a nuestro querido Padre en el cielo.
Fue el Padre quién nos escogió desde el principio. Fue el Hijo quién logró hacer la obra perfecta por la cual hizo posible para Dios Justo, Dios Santo, actuar en misericordia hacia aquellos pecadores quienes El había visto apropiado elegirles para la salvación.
Debemos perseverar porque Dios acabará la obra que comenzó. El Señor Jesucristo es nuestra Seguridad. El es nuestro guarda divino o fortaleza impregnable. Debido a que los elegidos están en Cristo, ellos están en el impregnable guarda o castillo del Dios Omnipotente quién se ha dispuesto mantenerles seguros en El y para El.
Entre otras cosas, hay tres poderosos proyectos del Espíritu Santo en favor de los elegidos. El primero de estas Grandes Obras es el glorioso hecho por el cual todos los elegidos son emplazados en Cristo por el Espíritu Santo.
Este hecho se llama El Baptismo del Espíritu Santo y no tiene absolutamente nada que ver de ninguna manera con lenguas, pero tiene que ver con la eterna relación establecida por Dios para el bien de los escogidos.
Nosotros fuimos emplazados en Cristo, el Divino Guarda, siendo juntados al cuerpo de creyentes conocido como la congregacion o la Novia de Cristo, que así Pablo nos asegura que por un Espíritu, siendo el Espíritu Santo, todos fuimos bautizados en un cuerpo, que es la congregacion de Cristo.
Y cuando decimos congregacion de Cristo, en Las Escrituras no hace referencia a ninguna denominación por ese nombre. El baptismo en Efesios 4:5 es el baptismo del Espíritu Santo quién une eternamente a los elegidos con el Hijo de Dios, quién es la cabeza de la Congregación, al momento que somos emplazados en Cristo Jesús. Es la Sanísima Trinidad unida quienes son nuestra Seguridad, no obra alguna de la carne.
El segundo poderoso proyecto del Espíritu Santo en favor de los elegidos es que El habita en los santos por siempre. Es este hecho que nos da sin avergonzarnos la esperanza de que “seremos salvados de la ira de Dios por venir” por la voluntad y el poder de Dios quién nos escogió en Cristo antes de que enmarcase la creación del mundo.
Si no fuese por el Espíritu Santo habitando en nosotros quién nos atestigua que somos hijos de Dios, estaríamos sin esperanza. Pero El atestigua a los elegidos.
Sepamos, que a propósito, es una maravilla que Dios nos haya escogido, nosotros pecadores, para ser el Templo de su Santo Espíritu donde habitar.
Cuando Jesús dijo, “Yo edificaré mi congregación”, El nos daba la seguridad de que esta obra no la dejaba en las manos del hombre, que no es de fiar, sobre todo predicadores.
Esto nunca Dios lo permitiría; estamos seguros porque Dios escogió a los elegidos en Cristo cuya relación no puede ser asaltada porque él es El Omnipotente y Eterno, porque él es El Eterno cuya Voluntad no puede ser frustrada por ninguna criatura.
Esto es por lo cual Judas comienza su epístola con las palabras, “A los llamados, santificados”, significados, “separados en Dios”, los cuales son santificados por Dios Padre y guardados, “preservados”, en Jesucristo (ésta es la palabra en Griego trichŏs, guarda o seguridad) los cuales son llamados, o sea, elegidos, Judas 1.
Oh que cosa más estremecedora pensar que si tú eres un verdadero hijo de Dios y tu conocimiento de esto no está basado en emoción, pero por haber creído en las Doctrinas de las Escrituras no importa cuán duro sean de digerir de acuerdo a la carne; si tú estás seguro en Cristo porque tú, en creer todo lo que La Biblia tiene para enseñar acerca de la Salvación, ya sabes que es La Obra de La Santísima Trinidad: Padre, Hijo y el Espíritu Santo.
Porque el Padre proyectó escogernos antes de que crease cielos y tierra, El ha predestinado nuestra salvación en su propia Gracia. El nos trajo irresistiblemente a su Hijo a través de su Espíritu, como también su Querido Hijo quién en lugar nuestro cargó con la ira a pagar, merecedoramente por todo pecador, quién fue resucitado de entre los muertos y quién también es el que garantiza, por su resurrección, que no hay condenación para nosotros porque El intercede por nosotros. Los poderosos proyectos del Espíritu Santo, también tres, fueron esos que: nos emplazó en Cristo; que el Espíritu Santo nos regeneró; y que el Espíritu Santo habita en nosotros por siempre. Amén.
